All the info you need about your Family Portrait Session
Coming from an Art & Design background, I have a huge appreciation for creative & artistic images. I aim to capture the personality of my subjects & provide images that are full of emotion & that will look beautiful displayed in bespoke hand crafted frames or art books. Your photography session will contain a mix of natural, documentary style images together with more posed & directed photographs. I find this helps to convey personality, character & help 'tell the story' of your session. Those images are then edited to the highest standard.
Absolutely, as any professional photographer should be. I have full public liability & professional indemnity insurance.
Whatever photography session you have chosen, I always discuss any creative ideas you have. I see your experience as a collaboration & will encourage you to talk about any styles you have seen in magazines or on television. Any really cool or beautiful locations that you have always fancied being photographed in - maybe you have a favourite place or park? We can meet for a chat over a coffee or discuss ideas over the telephone - either way I promise you will feel energised & totally excited about your photo experience.
As well as covering the Birmingham, Warwickshire & West Midlands I travel all around the UK (travel fees may apply). Depending on your chosen photography session, they can take place either in a cool Urban environment, a beautiful park or nature reserve, family shoots can even take place as I accompany you on a day out to the Zoo or seaside. A relaxed environment means that you enjoy your fantastic photo experience & I get to document that with quality photography. Home shoots are also very popular, where I can set up a simple studio using a variety of backgrounds & lighting techniques, resulting in modern & artistic portraits.
We can shoot at any time of day to suit your schedule, but during the Spring & Summer months earlier in the morning or later in the day are preferable. That golden sunlight can be a wonderful backdrop, resulting in beautiful portraiture.
Usually around 2 hours is enough time to help you relax & for us to capture a variety of stunning images. However I do not carry a stopwatch, so if the light suddenly changes or we spot a really great location then we shoot some more.
Absolutely. When your final edited images are presented to you, there will be a mix of both colour & black & white. I use my creativity to decide which images will be converted & we will usually discuss this on the actual shoot. I tend to 'see' what will make a striking & creative black & white image & I will tell you.
A £100 deposit is required at the time of booking & 48 hours is required to re-arrange your session or to cancel. Unfortunately last minute cancellations or cancellations on the day of the session will mean your deposit payment will not be refunded.
Absolutely! Your digital images come with a print licence.
Yes, individual print sizes are available to purchase. These are printed at a professional photographic lab, come delivered in a wallet & are high quality - ideal for gifts.
I know that you will be so excited by your stunning images that you will want to share them with your Facebook friends, so a selection of watermarked low resolution images will be uploaded to the Adrian Jones Photography Facebook page. Feel free to tag yourself & to share these images with your family & friends. (Business Headshots & Urban Location Portrait sessions include web-ready versions of your chosen images)
Absolutely. I am always honoured & proud when my clients love their images so much they tell all of their family & friends about me. If they book a session, I will give you a 10x8 inch print of an image from your own session to say thank you.
