Pension Awareness Day (PAD) is an award-winning campaign that takes place annually on 15th September. The aim of the day is to promote the importance of saving for the future and to alert the nation that it is not saving enough for retirement. The campaign also aims to encourage pension providers and employers to use more simple language and to look for more creative ways in how pension messaging is communicated. The initiative was devised in response to concerns that people are not saving enough for their retirement. According to a recent report by the government, almost 12 million people are failing to save enough for their future.
To promote awareness & provide much needed advice, those awesome people from Pension Geeks drove a double decker bus around the UK for 5 days. The bus was designed & provided by Commbus who provide exhibition hire vehicles for events & promotional roadshows. They commissioned me to capture some images of the bus at The Bullring Shopping Centre in Birmingham.
