As a photographer I am constantly pushing myself both technically AND creatively. There are always new techniques to master & new equipment to get to grips with, all of which help you grow in your work & master your craft. I recently went up to Manchester to spend a day training with photographers Damien Lovegrove & Chris Hanley. Two very talented guys who have been hugely inspirational to me on my creative journey.
We had such a fantastic day exploring the Urban backdrops of Manchester, ranging from the modern steel structures to old traditional buildings. We captured images of gorgeous model Jen Brook using both a mixture of off-camera lighting with a flashgun, together with natural light from the gorgeous sunny day. I learnt so much from Damien & Chris about lighting, composition, interacting with a model & they really pushed me to strive forward creatively. Their knowledge & expertise was freely shared, every question I asked was thoroughly explained. Here are some of the many images I captured..
