In his first publication ‘Rebel Heroes: The Renegades of Music & Why We Still Need Them’ Huey investigates where music started to lose its soul, and why the lessons of those renegade spirits of yesteryear are still so vital. The book is steeped in Huey’s love for, and knowledge of, music and is full of personal anecdotes and stories of some of the greatest musicians to have graced us with their talent.
It was a real pleasure to meet & photograph Huey at Waterstones Birmingham, High Street where he shared anecdotes, charmed the crowd, sang a selection of songs then signed books & posed for photo’s with fans & admirers. It was great working with Hannah & Matt from Octopus Publishers & the awesome staff at Waterstones helped to make this a successful & hugely entertaining event 😉
