Fraud Summit 2017 – Conference & Event Photographer at Royal Institution of Great Britain, London W1S 4BS

The Royal Institution of Great Britain is a fabulous building. Dating back to 1799 and located in Central London, it has beautiful Georgian architecture and 14 Event Spaces. As a Conference & Event Photographer in Birmingham & London I was super excited to be working with Callcredit again, having been the Official Photographer at their Annual Conference and Awards Event earlier this year.

Conference & Event Photographer in Birmingham & London

Being a Photographer located in the Midlands means that a trip to London is just over an hour away. I regularly undertake commissions from Clients holding an Event, Conference or Roadshow in Central London. This year’s Fraud Summit organised by Callcredit and held at The Royal Institution of Great Britain was a pleasure to photograph. The day consisted of various presentations inside the varied and wonderful rooms of the RI. These include the recently refurbished Faraday Theatre, so called because Scientist Michael Faraday first demonstrated electromagnetism there. The Library and the Georgian Rooms also housed break-out sessions and presentations from various guest speakers. Wonderful locations for an Event and Conference Photographer.

I always aim to capture a variety of images for clients showing the energy and atmosphere of the Event. These include:

  • Images of Branded Signs, Delegate Packs, Registration Areas.
  • Images of Sponsor Displays Stands displaying Logo’s and Branding
  • Images of Delegates Networking and Connecting
  • Images of Room Layouts, Wide Angle shots and overviews
  • Images of Speakers and Presentations
  • Images of Networking Drinks, Canapés and Entertainment

Jeffrey Archer at Fraud Summit 2017

One of the guest speakers was Lord Jeffrey Archer. He talked openly and honestly about his own experiences. As a Photographer he was wonderful to capture, being both engaging and expressive. He stepped from behind his podium to answer questions from the audience, providing both insightful and entertaining anecdotes. The Amphitheatre layout of the Faraday Room was the perfect platform for audience participation.
