I photograph lots of Conferences and Corporate Events inside various venues across the UK. So whenever I am asked to photograph a Promotional Event happening outside, where I get to meet lots of great members of the public & work with a top PR Team I am super-excited. Commbus are a Promotional Bus Hire Company that provide a range of services including bus fleet hire, design & branding for Company Events & Roadshows. Both the Internal & External Branding of their buses is not only unique but creative & eye-catching. Just like this one used by Heinz on their Product Promotion Tour. I was commissioned by Commbus to capture images for use across their Websites, printed brochures & Social Media. The Heinz Branded Bus arrived in Birmingham City Centre on a grey day, but it actually helped to make this striking & colourful bus even more eye catching.
As a Birmingham based Event Photographer I didn’t have far to travel & after a short train journey I was ready to start capturing dynamic images. My photography brief was to show as much of the design & branding of the bus as possible. When using the images in their PR Commbus could highlight the type of design (or wraps as they are referred to) for each section of the bus. I always aim to capture some creative images that show the colourful Roadshow bus in it’s environment – this time in a City Centre nestled amongst the beige architecture. Of course, as an Event Photographer I am always on the look out to capture some interaction of attendees & visitors. This time I wanted to show some interaction with the features of the bus for example, the information card holders & interactive iPad displays.
